This is my first foray into the world of 'blogging. I was prompted to start a blog after learning about Google's acquisition of blogger.com's parent company. I'm a very extroverted guy and I love to "read my own writing" (sorta like loving to hear yourself talk, but with a computer monitor rather than in person), so I suspect blogging will suit me just fine.

I'm a hasher ("Stiletto Slut" is my Hash Name), so this morning I'm in recovery from a "Quad Hash" (collaboration among four Hash groups) near the WI/IL border on Saturday and from a Chicago Hash I co-hare'd yesterday (Sun.). I broke up with my (ex-)girlfriend Karen a week ago yesterday (which was a great birthday present for her, one might say). And last night I dreamed about hanging posters of Elvis in a big loft.

How's that for a first blog entry?
